Desaudio introduces 18 exclusively created patterns in 100 ready color versions, or the possibility of having a custom coloring of a pattern you like created, based on your home style and personal aesthetic desires, or even to have a unique patter bespoke created for you.
These are the first offerings, starting Designer Home Audio, an approach that has not been seen before, and is very probably starting a new premium design and luxury product category that did not exist before.
If you want to indulge yourself with something completely unique, or are interested in creations that may have a sure collector’s value, then you have a unique opportunity of a kind that is not often experienced.
You have the chance of owning one of the first designs made available in this new product category, and thus own a collectible product rights in the very beginning of a new premium design and luxury product segment.
There are three spheres of offerings that you can choose from:
1. Digital delivery right away or after creation
If you purchase a numbered design, there are many things that you will receive right away, or after the custom coloring or bespoke creation has been created. Here is an overview of this:

Bespoke Creation
The rights to a numbered, year marked, exclusive bespoke creation. The rights for realization of the pattern on physical covers when the production capability is ready, possible complimentary products, and digital extra benefits.

Number and year mark
A label will be assigned to each pattern rights purchased, which tells the number of that item within the limited edition series, or number of custom coloring, or number of bespoke creation, and the year when it is introduced or created.

Anno 1
The label “Anno 1” will be attahced to all designs in the three categories above, that are introduced (or created when it is custom or bespoke creations) in the first year of operations, the first year of the new product category of Designer home audio. This will be added to those, even if the physical cover is produced after that first year has passed. The first year, Anno 1, will be considered to be from October 2022 to end of September 2023.
It is possible that subsequent creations will be labeled as Anno 2, Anno 3, etc.

The number “# 1” will be on the number badge on the very first item of a ready colored pattern limited edition series, the first custom coloring of a pattern, and the first bespoke creation.
At the launch of Desaudio, there are 100 #1 spots available in the beginning in ready colored, as there are 100 limited edition ready colors introduced. There are 18 #1 spots available in custom colorings, as there are 18 patterns introduced in the beginning, and there is one #1 spot available for bespoke creations.
A special mentioning will be made in the customized, downladable, PDF version of the book Designer Hi-Fi and Home Cinema Speakers and Devices, which those particular buyers receive.

Digital certificate by Versiart
Digital certificate of authenticity, issued by Verisart and recorded on the Bitcon blockchain, is included. The certificate is an important verification of the origins of the work. It must be transferred to a new owner in the occasion of a sale of the design rights on the secondary market.
Receiving and keeping the certificate requires a free account at Verisart. It is recommended that new customers create a free account at Verisart using the same email address as was used to purchase the Desaudio design. However, if the customer already has an account at Verisart then the email can be submitted and Desaudio will transfer the certificate to that account.

Different option: For clients who don’t want to hold a digital certificate, then Desaudio will keep records of the owner. This is a viable option for those who are not interested in being able to sell the item later on the secondary art market. To display the design rights you own in a virtual environment, you will be able to download 3D model files for social virtual worlds, with your design with item # and year on them. The design will be on a floorstanding speaker mockup, like the AR model. These are the file formats available:
- .USDZ (“Universal Scene Description”, for Apple iOS).
- .GLTF (“Graphics Language Transmission Format”, for Android).
- .OBJ (contains information about the geometry of 3D objects, available, but perhaps not applicable).
- .DAE (Digital Asset Exchange File).

2. Physical products – one included right away
It is not certain that you will be able to get physical covers for speakers right after acquiring a numbered color version, a numbered custom coloring or numbered bespoke creation. The production process of physical covers is under development. It is also not certain if you already own loudspeakers suitable for this, or when you will acquire loudspeakers and perhaps the accompanying audio system.
However, you don’t have to wait for enjoying a physical product in your hands, with the design and labeled with your number and year.
There will be one physical product of your choice, with the pattern version you just acquired, included in the initial purchase. This will be prepared after your purchase of a numbered color version, or after the custom coloring or bespoke creation has been created.
There are several complimentary physical products that you can choose from. These are good quality products, made in just one copy (or several) for the customer. As they are only available for the customer who has purchased that numbered version, custom coloring or bespoke coloring, they are closer to being unique or low production run works of art, than mass produced premium or even luxury products.
Thus, you will be able to get your newly acquired, historical and potentially collector’s item worthy design asset right away in physical form, to enjoy and show your friends and family.
You can order additional copies of the same product, and even order some of the other types of products as well, for an extra production and shipping fee. You can ask for a quote afterwards.

Physical fabric covers: The current situation
Fabric availability, design and printing technology, cutting and sewing technology, to make actual fabric covers for loudspeakers, are known. A dedicated production facility with full-time staff and materials inventory has not been built. Desaudio will be able to make offers, take down orders, and deliver on orders for fabric covers, on a first-come-first-serve basis, but their delivery times may be very slow. In order for the covers to be used safely on loudspeakers, there must be a grille or frame in front of the speaker drivers (the circular cones) that keep the outgoing cones, especially the low-frequency woofer cones, from touching the fabric covers during playback. Usually, speakers are delivered with speaker grille with (often) black speaker grille fabric, and if the fabric can be removed while continuing to have the grille frame attached to the front of the speaker, then that solution will work excellently. Otherwise, a new grille frame may need to be arranged, which can be easy or can be complicated, based on each situation.
The beginning is digital ownership: In these beginning stages, customers will get delivered digital items that they can enjoy in digital settings. It may also be possible to have the patterns realized on complimentary products such as pillow cases and scarves, to immediately enjoy the patterns on physical items. The very first, numbered limited edition item rights of a color version of a pattern, or the very first custom colorings or bespoke creations, in this new premium design and luxury market segment that did not exist before, may garner collector’s value, so the pattern rights themselves may possibly become valuable on the secondary market, (thereby transferring the rights to another owner). 3. Physical loudspeaker covers
At the launch of Desaudio, production facilities, machinery, stock and staff have not been set up in one place. There may be a waiting time for the covers to be produced. The rule will be, for those who have speakers available and covers to be made for those, that the first who bought pattern design rights will be first served.
This is the reason why clients are offered to be among the first to own the rights to numbered pattern designs, to receive digital benefits, and the possibility of acquiring complimentary physical products to enjoy immediately the numbered pattern design, on elegant and attractive physical products, as this new concept of Designer home audio, and this new premium design and luxury product category is introduced to the world.
To produce the physical loudspeaker covers, the speakers for which the covers are intended must be present. It is necessary to know how many speakers there are, and what their exact dimensions are, since the fabric is custom printed, cut and sewn for the speakers.
It is also necessary to have a frame or grille on the front of the speaker, to prevent the speaker cones and the rubber surround from touching the fabric across the front, repeatedly when the speaker is producing sound in full swing. This is mostly apparent for the low-frequency subwoofer speaker driver. It is probably not a problem for the mid-range driver and high-frequency tweeter. The locations of plug-ins for cables (speaker cables on passive speakers, and electric cables on active speakers), air ports, possible control buttons and handles are also a thing to consider. These must be taken care of and the exact locations must be known, to accommodate them.
If the speaker is curved in shape in some way, information about the curve and the dimensions of those must be known to create the correct pattern and cut for the cover. Curved shapes make the project more complicated, while straight, boxy shapes are simpler to make covers for.
The speakers may be owned by the client already, or the client may acquire speakers, new or used, specifically for this occasion. In that case, a special attention must be made about that these requirements are fulfilled. This can be a challenge if the speakers are not present where the covers are being prepared and made. Perhaps on a different continent even. Full information will be needed, and this will require a certain working process that will take some time and accurate effort to do this correctly.
It is the goal that Desaudio will offer speaker and room acoustics consultation, and offer speakers and audio device sales. In that case, it would be offering speakers with the mentioned things fully known, and taken care of.

The speaker covers are made of special printed, acoustically transparent speaker grille fabric that stretch around the speaker, making it a patterned column with the design visible from all sides. The fabric is anti-flammable treated, to fulfill demands of fire regulations.
Realization on speakers covers is not included in the limited rights price. The cost of printing and making the covers varies, depending on number and sizes of speakers.
The production capacity is limited at the moment, so there will be a waiting list. First come, first serve.

Labels
A label is incorporated in the pattern on the back of the physical speaker cover, with the pattern and color name, the limited edition number, and year.
Also, if this is item #1 of a colored version, custom coloring, or bespoke creation, a “#1 in anno 1” label is also placed there.

QR code
A printed Certificate of Authenticty label with a QR-code will be sewn to the the physical speaker covers. This establishes a link between the digital certificate and the physical, printed speaker covers, giving the authentification the highest level of confidence, or COA+ level. After the linking, when someone scans the QR code label with the camera on his/her mobile device, they will see the holographic COA+ badge at the top of the certificate, containing details about the secure link. The information in the digital certificate is are recorded on the Bitcoin blockchain by Verisart.

Information needed
To realize the covers on speakers, the exact dimensions of each speaker needs to be known, as well as location of other factors like air ports, cable connections, buttons, and handles.
It is also necessary to include a frame or grille at the front, to prevent the round rubber band and speaker cone especially of the subwoofer from touching the fabric during playing.

Fabric
The main fabric used is Class-A fire rated, and has passed the ASTM E84-15a test for surface burning characteristics of building materials (UL 723, UBC 8-1, NFPA 255).
If the main fabric is not used, then the fabric will be fire-protected with Ecofireprotection, EFP833 flame retardant, which is non-toxic, non-combustible, environmentally friendly fire protection from Sweden. It is free from PFAS, bromine and bor.
