The Acie pattern is a dynamic play of triangles, a fresh take on the geometric style, with soft edges that give the forms an organic feel.
For the most discerning client, then the best fit with your room is achieved by creating a custom coloring, based on the color palette, style and interplay of the different objects, their colors and surfaces, in the room. The client provides images of the room, or other styling clues.
The client will be the only person who owns the rights to that particular custom coloring, when it comes to realizing it on loudspeaker covers, or other products. Thus it is one-off.
First in line
By ordering a custom coloring, you will acquire one of the first custom colorized Desaudio Acie designs, in a new luxury product segment that didn’t exist before (see here). The custom coloring will be numbered according to when in the order it was created, and marked according to the year. In the first full year it will also carry the mark Anno 1, or “first year”. Thus this is a work with a high collector’s value.
Please observe that the operations of Desaudio are in development, and some of the planned parts of the operations are not fully available yet. But custom colorings ordered now have the prestige of being among the very first works created. This, the discerning collector understands.

Who will get the first custom work patches?

Created personally by the innovator, exclusively for the client
The custom coloring will be created personally and exclusively for the client by Sverrir Sigurdarson, the founder of Desaudio and creator of the new Designer Home Audio approach. He is also author of the book “Designer Hi-Fi and Home Cinema Speakers and Devices“, and he recorded the research videos that strongly indicated that no one had approached home audio device design in the way Desaudio does.
“Special” colors explained
Some of the readily colored patterns have the word “special” in their names. This basically means that the background behind the base pattern is configured with effects, often rasters, that are scaled and proportional to the shape of the speaker. Speakers come in many different sizes and proportions, and thus the “special” color effect needs to be customized exactly for the loudspeakers in question. You see this in the example pictures, where the same background cannot be used for all the loudspeaker shapes. The “special” coloring is more dynamic and unique.
Custom colorings of patterns would most of the time be “special” colors, as they are more dynamic and exciting, and unique.
